Abstract

This article deals with the analysis of metaphors about learning in the university, produced by students of the Education Sciences career of two Argentine public universities (Entre Ríos and Rosario) in two moments of student life: the third year of career and graduation. The objective was to elucidate the learning experiences in the university context from the meanings that the students contribute, from the technique of choosing objects. It is framed in the qualitative paradigm, which allows access to the idiosyncratic constructions of the same students at two points in the educational trajectories from a metaphorical use of certain objects contributed by the same participants. From a thematic analysis, differentiating themes were found: in the middle of the degree, learning is described from how it is and what it produces; and upon graduation, retrospectively, from the supports: the assembly of different circumstances and from the effort.
