TEACHING PRACTICES IN BASIC EDUCATION: teaching narratives about pedagogical activity

This article aims to discuss how continuing education and the exchange of experiences among teachers have contributed to the practice of teaching. Pedagogical practice in basic education has been one of the barriers faced by teachers in the context of contemporary classrooms. The incessant search for teaching strategies by both teaching staff and training teams has sparked interest in examining the results of continuing education in practice. Thus, the study we are developing now uses the narratives of teachers working in basic education to highlight relevant contributions in practice. We followed the bias of narrative research and content analysis, in this context some theorists such as Bardin (2016); Clandinin and Connelly (2011); Nóvoa (1994); Josso (2004) among other scholars on memory and teacher training made it possible to develop this study and highlight teachers' perceptions regarding their experiences in pedagogical practice. The reflections and results pointed to important themes that should be highlighted in continuing education by SED and SEMED/MS given the need for teachers to understand their pedagogical practices.
