Resumen

he growing prevalence of chronic non-communicable diseases has driven the search for innovative prevention and treatment strategies that consider the individuality of each patient. In this context, the integration of Precision Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine emerges as a promising approach, capable of offering personalized and effective interventions. This study aimed to analyze the contributions of this integration to the prevention, management, and reversal of chronic conditions, in addition to identifying ethical, economic, and social challenges related to its implementation. Through exploratory and descriptive bibliographic research, scientific publications from national and international databases were analyzed, selected based on criteria of relevance, timeliness, and methodological quality. The results indicated that Precision Medicine, by incorporating genetic, epigenetic, environmental, and behavioral data, enhances the effectiveness of interventions proposed by Lifestyle Medicine. This synergy enables more assertive diagnoses, personalized treatments, and proactive prevention strategies, reducing complications and optimizing healthcare resources.
