Abstract

This text presents a review of the work "The discourse of Brazilian foreign policy in times of Bolsonaro and Araújo", which analyzes the discourses of Brazilian foreign policy during the government of Jair Bolsonaro. The authors use the Bakhtin Circle as a basis for reading and analyzing these discourses, reflecting on terms such as ideology, truth, freedom/liberation, God and religion, and how they are immersed in a sociopolitical context. The article highlights that, even after the end of the Bolsonaro government, his ideas and culture are still present in Brazilian society. The authors propose an articulation of fields of knowledge, such as linguistic studies and international relations, for a more complete analysis of Brazilian foreign policy discourses. The article is permeated with originality and provides a secure basis for the analysis of these discourses.
