This article is based on a master's dissertation produced at São Carlos University, entitled “Shared Teaching: a look at the actions of elementary school teachers and their relationship with collective work”. In this research, we seek to understand how Shared Teaching is developed in the "Todos Juntos" Project and its relationship with Collective Work. For this article, we sought to make an excerpt from the dissertation to specifically deal with Anton Makarenko's collective work in the development of his pedagogical practice. In this sense, we understand that, despite having been constructed at a very peculiar time in terms of history, the collective work proposed by Makarenko contains significant elements for the study of the contradictions we face in society and specifically in education today.
